ACCREDITATION Accreditation is required from Thursday 5 January 2023 Accreditation Allocation and Validity All main draw and qualifying players at the Australian Open are eligible to have three (3) PST members attached to their accreditation for the duration of the player’s entry in the tournament. The validity of the PST accreditation pass is linked directly to the player who nominated them and has the same validity. Switching between different players’ teams is not allowed. This means that a guest of player A cannot switch to be a guest of player B because player A is no longer in the tournament Accreditation is valid for all Players and their PSTs until two (2) days after the player’s day of elimination from the tournament. Players can apply for an Out of Tournament Pass that will enable them to continue practicing onsite for an agreed period. All team members’ passes will be extended in line with the player pass until the player leaves. Minors Any minor (11 years and under) who a player is the legal guardian of (i.e., direct children of players) are not counted towards their allocation of three (3) PST accreditations. Any other minors (11 years and under) who are not the children of a player (e.g., the children of a PST member or other guests) can be allocated a PST accreditation, however this will count towards the player’s allocation of three (3) PST accreditations. Players with children are permitted to bring their children and 1 person whose primary role is caregiver for those children. The caregiver’s accreditation does not count towards the player’s allocation of three (3) PST accreditations Players under 18 years of age are permitted to bring 1 parent or legal guardian whose accreditation will not count towards the player’s allocation of three (3) PST accreditations RLA Men’s Changeroom Access ATP players are allowed to bring one (1) male coach in the men’s locker room during his participation at the event. If the player prefers to allocate this access to his physio or trainer instead, this can be accommodated but the changeroom access is given for the duration of the event and should not be swapped out on different days. Player Accreditation AO Singles Champions* are allowed one (1) additional team member (must be physio or trainer, not an agent) with the men’s locker room access ATP players* who hold or have held the World No. 1 Singles ranking are allowed one (1) additional team member (must be physio or trainer, not an agent) with the men’s locker room access * Active players only Accreditation Ts & Cs All Coach, Physio, Trainer, and Hitting Partner’s accreditation nominations are final and non-transferrable once collected Guest Accreditations may be replaced if the player’s original guest has left and there is a vacant accreditation available..
